  1. As a proud royalist and Englishman, I would like to wish everybody a very happy Diamond Jubilee weekend!
  2. I agree. We need Mr Kinetic's tapes archived before they are lost forever.

I think Sir FuzzyLogic means *recordings of shows from 2005? Also welcome to the board Mr Gdog11. Surprised you found it a palaver getting registered but maybe its changed since I signed up
  4. Scots are the best clubbers in the world. Enjoy sir. 'ere we f****** go!!
  5. This was released yesterday. Not sure what to make of it. A bit commercial this but I what I really dislike is the obvious autotune on the vocals. Saying that, I just repeated it
  6. Welcome hehaw! I bet you were gutted when you saw "unknown - unknown"! Used to be a familiar sight back in the day on the old BBC tracklistings I'm sure someone on here can ID it... anyone?
  7. You say "something" going on, so true... I know precisely what you mean sir! There's no words for THAT indescribable 'atmosphere' at certain moments, Jules certainly created many for me.
  8. I would wear my full medieval cloth, dark robe, hood up, and sword drawn, prowling around in the dark with this tune following me: Aztec Mystic - Knights of Jaguar
  9. Definitely worth downloading this sirs! Sir Aza I've said it before but your mixing is very tight
  10. Yeah as Dame Chrissie says the tracklistings on here are 1000x more accurate. The Cut Up Boys' 5- or 10-minute mix at the start of the show was a complete waste of time. Very clever and original, and I'm sure they put a lot of time into it packing so many tunes into such a short mashup, but for me it totally wasted time on Jules's show when he could have showcased another new tune...
  11. It is, but the original name at the time was Stadium Rox and they changed it at the last minute. Not sure why!
  12. Nah, the best thing is this is one of the only dance messageboards I've found where people are actually helpful and polite. True fans!
  13. You're welcome sir! Enjoy
  14. Jesus I wish I had time to be so meticulous, sir! My mp3s are a mess in many folders. But my vinyl is all neat and tidy on my shelves. That's the thing though - when you had proper CDs and vinyl, you take care of them. The covers were special, even the little paper inlay was cool. You don't get the same "ownership" feel with mp3s and that's probably why I don't organize them as well.
  15. Here is a guy DJing some good early Trance back in 1994, from a small, unknown European club. But he has no arms and is doing it all with his feet. 05:05 - mix starts, upfader goes up for the incoming track being mixed in 06:39 - mix finishes 06:41 - removes record and swaps it with feet 06:52 - bang! there it is (with a flourish from the foot) 07:27 - bang! another flourish 07:30 - yep I'll just take another record with my toes thanks and cue it up. And all of the tracks are awesome - I wish I knew what they were, especially the track at 9mins... Please don't ask me how I found this. But hats off to the guy - awesome.
  16. Of course, as music lovers, the first thing we will notice about this cover is the fact she is playing along to an old 45rpm record. If this record exists and I find it, I will buy it.... And then I've a perfect excuse to actually use that 45 centre hole spindle adaptor on my Technics...
  17. I remember this. Gosh going back a long way. Matt Darey remix of this is also good
  18. Not all album covers are created equal. Some are so incredible that they can’t now be explained by the people who originally conceived of them. Here we look at 30 of the worst, most strange and downright ridiculous album covers ever made. http://blog.tastebuds.fm/worst-album-covers-of-all-time/
  19. Discogs is your friend sir. It will have everything cross referenced.
  20. Rather than paste that on all messageboards sir how about a sample tracklisting or something else to whet our appetites? Will take a listen nonetheless
  21. Burn it to CD or buy a memory stick. Easier!
  22. Closet needs digitizing! Anyone got a few thousand to reactivate it
  23. The Ry Cooder info came from Jules - either that's an astonishing bit of knowledge or he made it himself, I say!
