  1. There have been attempts at ID'ing it before but the title & artist remains elusive. I have a dig around the internet every now & then to see if I can find anything but i've never turned anything up. Just one of the many famous unknown tracks which may never be ID'ed.
  2. I definitely agree with Glee. My fiancee absolutely loves it so I have to try & fake some sort of interest in it. I think I'd rather listen to a J&T bootleg in all honesty. *edit* Actually I'd rather listen to the Space Brothers remix that Number 2 posted on repeat for a whole hour.
  3. Just finished a new track. Give it a listen & leave me some feedback :)

  4. Just completed a new track. Quite possibly the shortest time it's ever taken me to produce a track because I only started working on it yesterday morning. It's a little bit more laid back than my usual style. I'll hopefully be doing a vocal mix to go with this version if I can find my microphone. Link: NSFW - Embers (Dub Mix) (Soundcloud) Looking forward to your feedback as always Cheers!
  5. Cheers for the comments guys. I'll try to get another one done soon. Expect to see another assortment of classics from 'Dj Fubar - The Love Parade' to 'Michael Woods - The 25th Hour'.
  6. It's been a long while since I uploaded a mix so I thought I'd upload my latest one. It's filled to the brim with classics from 2000 to 2005. There's some dodgy mixing in places but I'm recovering from an ear infection so I hope you'll excuse it. Link (Soundcloud): Tim451 Classics Mix http://soundcloud.com/tim451/tim-james-01-06-10-classics-mix The tracklist is below: 1. Sasha & Emerson - Scorchio (Full Length Version) [Deconstruction] (2000) 2. VPL - T-Break (Steve Murano Remix) [Closet] (2002) 3. Gouryella - Ligaya (Yoji Biomehanika Remix) [Carnal] (2004) 4. Flashbang - Energy Reflect [Yakuza] (2004) 5. Azure - Sunset [White Label] (2003) 6. Cheap Emotions - Battle Trance Galaxia [Mondo] (2005) 7. Marc Dawn - Expander (Flutlicht Remix) [Logport] (2002) 8. Maurice - Feline (Original Mix) [Distinct'ive Breaks] (2000) 9. Mario Piu' aka DJ Arabesque - The Vision (Vision 1 Mix) [bXR] (2000) 10. The Pitcher - Dropshot [Top Side] (2000) 11. Feedback - Nova Symphony [White Label] (2000) 12. Slusnik Luna - Sun (Original Mix) [incentive] (2001) 13. Magica - Magica (Ibiza Remixx) [Front] (2000) 14. Blank & Jones - The Nightfly (Pants & Corset Remix) [Nebula] (2000) Enjoy!
  7. That new Rex Mundi track is fantastic! Haven't listened to Jules in quite a while actually but what I heard last night (aside from those dire jingles) sounded much like the Jules of old. The 30 minute mix was brilliant. Plenty of energy in there.
  8. 5. Prezioso - Let Me Stay (Ce Pensa Gio' Mix) [Nukleuz]
  9. Off the top of my head: Slyder - Score (Original Mix) (and 'Neo' for that matter) - Not very well known despite featuring on GTA3 but a fantastic piece of hands-in-the-air trance. Warrior - X (Original Mix) - That breakdown still sends shivers down my spine. Jurgen Vries - The Theme (Original Mix) - Not really sure what it is about this track but it has a great sense of energy. F&W - Your Will Understand (Original Mix) - Amazing is the only word that comes to mind. The infamous unknown track from Lush - That breakdown with the bendy guitar lead sound has a similar effect on me to Warrior's 'X'. The above 5 still evoke the same responce from me now as they did when I first heard them which in my opinion is the sign of a great track.
  10. Remix of Conductor & The Cowboy's 'Feeling This Way' just uploaded

  11. I've committed the ultimate sin by remixing a classic. I don't think I've murdered it though. Only took a couple of evenings to produce (the less time they take the better they usually turn out). Anyways, here's a link: The Conductor & The Cowboy - Feeling This Way (NSFW 2010 Remix) Looking forward to your feedback as always. Cheers
  12. I have done a fair bit of producing over the past year. I have posted many of my productions here but there have been many that I never got round to finishing or that I didn't feel worthy enough to grace the forums. I've dug out a few of the better tracks & thought I'd upload them for everyone to hear. All 128k copies to keep file size down but I'll sling a 320k to anyone who's interested. 1. Waxxed - Evaporation: I wanted to make a nice melodic trancer and started work on a track. I got pretty much everything laid down but my ever increasing pile of uni work meant that I never got around to mastering and polishing it off. It's been lying around on my hard drive since around March of this year. Waxxed - Evaporation 2. TJR - The End: This was a test track I was working on whillst playing around with a new synth. It's all there but I've always felt it's missing something. TJR - The End 3. TJR - Silence: Towards the end of the summer I was listening through some of my old vinyl & decided I wanted to have a go at something with a Matt Darey sound to it. 'Silence' was the result. TJR - Silence 4. NSFW - Overkill: Lastly is a track I finished a couple of weeks ago. I started playing around with percussion & some samples & I was pretty happy with the result. NSFW - Overkill Hopefully once I've recorded some classics that I'm getting for Christmas onto my PC I'll do a 2000 era Jules-esque mix for a bit of nostalgia. Cheers!
  13. Yeah I've got most of them in digital form but I'm slowly buying them all on vinyl as and when I can. Cheers for the link mate
  14. Yeah I got Feline from Trackitdown a while back but when I saw a copy on vinyl going for a couple of quid I had to get it. I didn't really get into Jules until early 2002 & even then I rarely had any money so there are gaps in my record collection which I'm slowly filling in lol. I don't think I actually owned a record until Riva - Stringer was re-released with that godawful vocal version hogging the A side lol. Thanks for the heads up on Can U Dig It being on iTunes. I'll be grabbing that one to tide me over until funds allow me to grab a copy on vinyl. Cheers
  15. The cheapest I could find on Discogs in mint condition was £100 plus P&P or £50 plus P&P for a VG+. The chances of me having anywhere near that amount to blow on a single vinyl are slim so I doubt I'll be getting it any time soon lol. *Edit* http://www.discogs.com/sell/item/14617880?ev=bp_titl Not even mint condition. I don't care how rare it is or how good the track is, I'd never pay that for a vinyl unless it was the infamous track 21 from Lush lol.
  16. I posted a thread a while back asking if anyone knew where I could obtain digital copies of a few classics. Thanks to the replies I managed to find a few of them. I kept looking for the rest but to no avail so after a bit of hunting I bought them on vinyl instead. Just bought: Maurice - Feline [Distinctive Breaks Promo] (Mint condition) Mabel - Disco Disco [Positiva Promo] (Mint condition) Champion Burns - Bat Train / Funk Rider [suck Discs] (Mint condition) Da Hool - Eichelruck [Additive] (Mint condition) Storm / 16C+ - Storm / Under 4 Ever [Additive Promo] (New unplayed) Hi-Gate - Gonna Work It Out [incentive] (New unplayed) Only problem is they're part of my christmas present from my fiancee. The wait is going to be agony. The other day I was looking for some more I've been after and I stumbled across Flickman - A.N.L / Sound Of Bamboo Double Pack for £5.50 inlcuding P&P. Absolute bargain considering it's in mint condition. Hopefully in the coming months I'll be getting: Feedback - Nova Symphony The Shrink - 2nd Opinion Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 Blank & Jones - The Nightfly Storm - Time To Burn Noisefloor - Club System Magica - Magica Boca - Play With Me Jam X & De Leon - Can U Dig It? Dj Scot Project - F (Future Is Now) Hi-Gate - I Can Hear Voices Digger - Church Of RA (If I can afford the hefty price tag that comes with it)
  17. Warrior's 'X' was Michael Woods at his absolute finest in my opinion. That rolling piano riff still sends shivers down my spine to this day.
  18. Cheers mate. Yeah still using the old Fruity Loops. I should be able to get some parts sorted mate. I've got a lot of uni work on the go but I'll see what I can do.
  19. Fingers Burnt - Act Your Age Not Your Shoe Size is a tough one to mix into. It's got that long instumental intro & then it just kicks straight in with the bassline & it just doesn't sit nicely with other tracks. I don't think I've ever successfully mixed into it. A lot of F&W's tracks / remixes all kick straight in with the bass too which makes them annoying to mix into. DJ Elite - That Fuct Camera had something about it but I can't place my finger on what it was. Oliver Klein - Rhinekraft is annoying too. Even if I drop it on the first actual beat it still seems to be in the wrong place.
  20. Well it's been a while since I've done any producing thanks to vast amounts of uni work and a change of course after 2 years on one that I absolutely hated. I've somehow managed to squeeze in a new production though based around an idea I've had going for some time. A new alias (I get bored pretty quickly) and a similar melodic style to my 'Waxxed' productions. Link: NSFW - Day Release [128k] Some feedback would be very much appreciated as always. Cheers!
  21. Ahh no worries mate I've got a PayPal account but I think the bank account it's hooked up to is my old one & in all honesty I've never really been 100% sure on how to use it lol. I've managed to get a few off my list from Amazon of all places. Says they're 320k under file properties but under track information in Winamp they come up as 255k VBR. I'd imagine the quality tradeoff is relatively minimal. They're good enough for me anyway considering I'm awful at mixing and won't be playing out any time in the next few years  Still searching for the others though, especially Bat Train (I'm seriously in love with that track). Cheers!
  22. Cheers for the links mate. Just one problem (I should have mentioned) - Dj Dowload don't accept my card so I can't buy from them
  23. Apologies, got some internal server error message while posting so I tried again & voilla - a double post  One of the mods might want to delete this Cheers
