  1. Yes. Some Fedde le Grande tune too, what was that?
  2. The vocals are shit lol. It's a sample though, Stevie Winwood -Valerie which I never liked much anyway... What I hated about that was the fact the video was soft porn which got the tune played alot on shit music channels where you text to get stuff played. (Teenage boys etc) there's a fair few tunes that done the same, but this one was as close as you could get to sex without penetration!! There's many ppl who only buy tunes they've heard alot. So dirty videos sell. Not quality of music.
  3. Alison Limerik - where love lives I just hate it, I think it's shit.
  4. I really hate Get down too. Could never understand why someone would play it. Lol But now if I hear it, it does take me back, I still hate it but it has a taste if that time about it!! I also hated that one that goes "I've got so much love to give" over and over.
  5. Yeah I ticked them off my list of people I needed to see live, in my life!!
  6. Well it's just a phrase, I don't actually feel guilt about them. But you know, in the same way there are awesome tunes you might dislike, there are crappy tunes you can't help but love.
  7. Just spotted Electronic in your list. Quality artists all through, and I have many records by them all.
  8. I saw New Order in the summer. Saw The Pet shop boys last year actually as they were supporting Take That. (Who I saw twice last year) I don't think you should feel guilty about liking any of them Quadders, as long as its only Duran Durans early tunes anyway. I love Planet Earth. Real sign of that time. My favourite though, Soft Cell, Visage, Early Human League. Gary Numans shops at ours this time of year too. His wife has the skin of a rhino. 😊
  9. Well whether it's for sentimental reasons, or just coz you can't help yourself. What tunes with a less favourable reputation do you actually secretly love? I have a soft spot for David Guetta - Titanium I just like it, not entirely sure why. On another note Capella - Move it up, cheesy shallow Eurotrance, reminds me of my younger days, but I even have it in my iTunes to this day.
  10. Holy f***! Wish I'd been there. No bastard would come with me though, as per usual. If I could go back in time, I would defo attend all the stuff people stood me up on, etc. I'd just go. I missed out.
  11. I'm not sure I should play that.
  12. I was in a car my car once, with an old boyfriend. On the radio was Peter Gabriel - games without frontiers. My fella was singing along to the bit that goes "games without frontiers, war without tears" except he was singing "games without frontiers, BORN WITHOUT EARS" LMFAO! He was a dickhead though.
  13. I don't even know what it is, but I can guarantee there's alot worse in my collection.
  14. I was very jealous of the winner!!
  15. Yeah I have phases. Normally when I get bored of the new stuff I have an oldie phase, and vice versa.
  16. Enjoying watching this right now Thanks for sharing the find. Even though I was there in those early years, it's a great and interesting reminder of the way it was, and how it's changed. With, so far, a great and accurate soundtrack. I'm loving the last track played info It most definitely ain't like it used to be
  17. So did I Chrissie. £5.99 on eBay
  18. U can get it on eBay Quadders!
  19. We used the forum on the jj net though!!
  20. Zane Lowe plays some bloody good and varied tunes. Bit annoying when he talks but at least I feel like he likes the music he's playing. A proper DJ as such.
