  1. Gosh this rings a bell. Early 2000 I think, under their Celine Diablo moniker. Might be worth asking Jules, sir...
  2. I watched this classic clubbing film again for the first time in years and years yesterday. What a cracker. Fast-forward to 1:08 here and it reminds me of my younger days! Afterparties, struggling with sentences... Ah the days
  3. I can't understand why they wouldn't like a classics night. It is the revered and celebrated era for a bloody good reason - the tunes. Where did the Matt Hardwick rumour come from?
  4. Surely Chrissie you can upload it to mediafire.com or some other cloud for us to download?
  5. Welcome sir! I'm sure you've scoured the depths of the Internet but some wonderful things appear on this board so you never know.
  6. Didn't know this mix existed as like Jason says it is left off the multipack for some reason. Looks like an Alphabet City special edition! Thanks sir.
  7. Does Jules know this is a Classics event? Everyone there will be expecting old stuff... it would be a lasting legacy. Enjoy sirs
  8. It would be nice for a final e-mix from Jules but I can't see it happening. I thought they hated each other? Back in the day I mean... 98/99 there were words spoken!
  9. Welcome to the board sire! One of the last great messageboards around in my opinion, where we all remember the good old days
  10. Nice one sir! Off-topic but where's your awesome avatar gone (Jules webchart)?? Loved that.
  11. When we were all recording Jules's Friday night 9-11pm shows back in the day, at the end of the half-hour mix when Westwood's BOMBS went off I reckon if you listened really closely you could *hear* 2,5 million people across the world jump up and stop their tape
  12. A good choice! Not heard of Jordan before but done a bit of research and I reckon he's an ace choice. 13. I've not been to Leeds for years. Saying that sir, my cake below illustrates the percentage chance of you finding a club which plays top-quality Trance (unfortunately)... :
  14. Chicane feat Bryan Adams - Don't Give Up Armin van Buuren - Yet Another Day off the top of my head... I do think girls sound better on records (if you need a vocal). And Jan Johnston tops that list.
  15. Only just seen this. That Moogwai remix of Bassfly is a fantastic bit of Trance. Lol, what the hell is Jules talking about at the end!? He reads out an entirely wrong tracklisting... definitely pre-recorded! Maybe the mix he actually reads out exists somewhere... in a dusty BBC vault, never broadcast...

Hilarious! Where are the 80s pics of Dave Pearce by the way? We should archive them, they're all brilliant
  17. Wonder what mix of Flesh that is, either the Tilt or Tiesto mix? Will download... I love these mini mastermixes. You never get them today, and if you do there's a shedload of stupid jingles all over them.
  18. Which date should I download sir and what was your tracklisting? Sorry for being lazy just easier if it's all here and would like to listen
  19. This'll be interesting because your choice of track order is determined purely by the alphabet. Definitely going to listen to this, sire.
  20. I've never understood label signings anyway, or how that all works. If I were an artists I would not want to be paid to give my recordings away! Perhaps there is some german / Pvd remix package in the pipeline?
  21. Have to say, the original mix is better than this re-work.
  22. What do you mean by this sir?? Poor unicorn
  23. I read somewhere that John 00 Fleming thought it was about time Jules hung up his Radio hat because he was a simply "terrible radio presenter". Although he did point out he was a superb DJ back in his House days though and a sound chap. I must try and find the webpage again to verify this but I was surprised at the radio host comment.
  24. I love hearing snippets like this, so many have similar stories and at the risk of sounding silly, Jules's DJing changed our lives! Nice to know those who remember and clubbed during his golden years of 1998-2001 are still around. Welcome sir
